UPK/K Registration Now Open
The Auburn Enlarged City School District is now accepting applications for its 2018-2019 Universal Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Programs.

Children who are three or four years of age on or before December 1, 2018, and are Auburn school district residents, are eligible to apply for the the district's 2018-2019 3PK and UPK programs, taught by state-certified early childhood education teachers.

Area universal prekindergarten programs each offer different features, and parent(s)/guardian(s) are encouraged to contact the sites to arrange a visit. The three-year-old program (3PK) and the four-year-old program (UPK) are available at the following Auburn locations:  Cayuga Community College, Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, Cayuga Seneca Community Action Agency, E. John Gavras Center, Montessori School of the Fingerlakes and the YMCA. The Early Childhood Center and Westminster Nursery School offer the four-year-old program (UPK). Program offerings, and full/half day classes per site are subject to change.

Any child who is five years of age on or before December 1, 2018, and resides in the Auburn school district is eligible for our 2018-2019 kindergarten program.  Elementary school assignments are made based upon a student’s street address.  If you are unsure about which elementary zone you reside in, please contact the AECSD at (315) 255-8800.

Universal Prekindergarten and Kindergarten Registration Packets are available at all sites listed above and also at the following locations: Casey Park Elementary School, Genesee Elementary School, Herman Avenue Elementary School, Owasco, Elementary School and Seward Elementary School. They can also be found at the Harriet Tubman Administrative Building.

Parent(s)/Guardian(s) can also download registration packets from the Auburn Enlarged City School District’s website at:  district.auburn.cnyric.org/upk/.
